Dangerous Worry Dolls is a horror film about a woman who is thrust into a terrifying world when she is locked up for armed robbery. As the driver in an armed robbery gone wrong, Eva (Jessica Morris) is lucky enough to have her sentence reduced to six months at the Meredith Detention Center for Women. But as she soon finds out, the life inside this big house is far from easy. From Miss Ivar (Deb Snyder), the harsh warden looking to make an example out of her, to Kim (Meredith McClain), the local tough girl who urges Eva to work as a mule, her troubles seem to loom large enough. The only bright spot is a visit from her daughter Meg (Rebekah Crane), who gives her a collection of small, traditional "worry dolls" that are supposed to take her troubles away. Eva's life on the inside goes from bad to worse when Carl (Dilio Nunez), a sadistic guard, takes her to the boiler room to have his way with her. This prompts her to desperately ask the worry dolls to help her, and as she sleeps, one crawls into her ear. The seemingly possessed inmate suddenly finds the fortitude and strength to resist her tormentors, but as she quickly realizes, her found ability might come at a steep price. Charles Band directs this terror fest, in the same vain as the Puppetmaster series.moreless
