Dark Honeymoon is a 2008 thriller/slasher movie set on the foggy Oregon coast. Told through a series of flashbacks, the truth behind a series of grisly murders is slowly revealed. On his honeymoon at a remote park, Paul (Nick Cornish) is stopped by a ranger (Barry Eisen) and asked if he was in an accident, due to the blood on him and the car. After discovering a body in the trunk, he brings Paul in for questioning by Sheriff Fields (Robert R. Shafer), who in turn calls in FBI Special Agent Daniel McCloud (Doug Wert), as more bodies are discovered. Paul tells authorities that he married a beautiful, reserved woman, Kathryn (Lindy Booth), after a brief, passionate romance, and they embarked on a honeymoon. When they checked into a decrepit Bates-like motel, Paul soon realized that he knew nothing about the woman he married and that she was not all that she appeared to be.
