Dark Side of the Sun is a 1988 romantic drama directed by Bozidar Nikolic. In this drama Rick (Brad Pitt) is an American man traveling the world to find a cure to his rare skin disease. Rick's skin disease is so dreadful that it will kill him if he is exposed to light. Rick's search becomes more desperate when he begins to fear he is running out of time. It is then that he meets a young American woman, Frances (Cheryl Pollak) and falls madly in love. Rick finally feels happy his disease has led him to feel as though there is so much in life he has not had an opportunity to enjoy. His desperate search leads him to a small town on the Adriatic Sea where he meets a healer (Stole Arandjelovic). The healer provides Rick with a cure to his terminal skin disease, but there is a catch. The catch is the cure will only last for three days. Rick and Frances vow to enjoy every minute of the next three days, without Rick's illness getting in the way of anything.moreless
