Dawn of the Dead - Unrated Director's Cut is a reimagining of the original 1978 classic zombie film. When Ana (Sarah Polley) wakes up to discover the world in the midst of a zombie outbreak, she flees her suburban neighborhood, meeting up with a group of survivors along the way - a police officer, Kenneth (Ving Rhames), a husband and wife, Andre (Mekhi Phifer) and Luda (Inna Korobkina), and Michael (Jake Weber). Together, they head to the Crossroads Shopping Mall for refuge, where they face threats from zombies and humans alike. Time is running out, the hordes of the undead grow ever larger, and help may never come. As they fight for survival, the ever-growing group must eventually decided on a course of action, because the longer they wait, the more grim things become. Zack Snyder brings his unique style to this 2004 remake of an already classic film, creating a compelling story in its own right. Fans of zombie movies, new or old, will not want to miss this one. This special Director's Cut of the film features nine additional minutes of footage not found in the original film release, perfect for the zombie fanatic who just can't get enough.moreless
