Dead Man's Bounty, originally named Summer Love, is a 2006 western that was written and directed by Piotr Uklanski. In the film, a stranger (Karel Roden) enters a small town carrying the body of one of the town's most wanted man (Val Kilmer). He is hoping to drop the body off and collect the five hundred dollars bounty that he is due. Instead of handing the stranger his money, the drunken sheriff (Boguslaw Linda) challenges him to a poker game. The stranger agrees, but when he has nothing left to ante up the pot, he puts the dead man's body and his bounty on the line. He loses the game and is subsequently run out of town. Knowing that he needs that bounty to help him survive, the stranger devises plan to recover the body and get his reward too. The sheriff and his posse are not so quick to give up what they believe belongs to them. Thrown into the mix is the sexy barmaid (Katarzyna Figura), who seems to have captured the hearts of both men.moreless
