Dead Space: Downfall is an animated sequel to the EA horror game Dead Space. In the distant future, there is a colony of humans on a planet known as Aegis VII. When the colonists find a mysterious, religious artifact on the planet, they begin to have murderous fights among each other for seemingly no reason. Captain Mathius (Jim Cummings) of the mining ship Ishimura is in the restricted air space outside of the planet and decides to take the artifact, called the Marker, onto his ship. Almost as soon as the relic arrives on board the Ishimura, it awakens a race of alien spirits. The spirits soon start to inhabit the dead bodies in the ship's morgue and reanimate them. As the aliens, dubbed the Necromorphs, begin to take control of the ship and leave behind a path of bloody mayhem, Captain Mathias and his crew struggle to survive their wrath.moreless
