Deadly Stranger is a 1988 action thriller directed by Max Kleven. The film follows J.C Ryan who is an undercover cop posing as a migrant worker (played by Michael J. Moore). Ryan takes a job at a plantation on the Texas-Mexico border owned by Mr. Mitchell (played by John Vernon). While there Ryan uncovers that Mitchell has an illegal pact with the labor union that is exploiting workers. However Mitchell will kill to protect his plantation and is always one step ahead of Ryan who is trying to expose the truth. Complicating the matter further is the fact that Ryan has fallen for the farm owner's mistress, Peggy (played by Darlanne Fluegel). Can Peggy and Ryan get the truth out and stop the plantation or will Mr. Mitchell hunt them down first?
