From writer-director Todd Ciaciuch, Death Interrupted is an award-winning comedy set in Purgatory, where souls are doomed to repeat their sins. The story begins with the unexpected deaths of Joan (Charity Rahmer) and Mary (Nicci Faires), two sinners from Hollywood, California forced to re-trace their past lives. Joan and Mary struggle to adapt to their situation, but things gets worse when they meet Dumah (Cecelia Specht), their spirit guide. Dumah watches over her souls with an iron fist, however, working in Purgatory has never gone easy for her. The film falls within the lines of an allegory, physically connecting life with death and man with God.
