Death of a Ghost Hunter is a 2007 horror film that tells the story of renowned ghost hunter Carter Simms (Patti Tindall) as she is out to prove that there is life after death. Simms decides to investigate the Masterson House, a place where an unspeakable tragedy had occurred 20 years earlier. The victims of the house, which included Minister Joseph Masterson, wife and their daughter, were all slaughtered to death in their abode and their spirits are still in the house according to locals who have witnessed weird things happening at the residence. Simms, along with just a cameraman, reporter and spiritual advocate then embark on a three-night stay at the house with the intention of proving whether the locals right or wrong. At the end, not everyone lives to tell their story and another mystery is forged. Death of a Ghost Hunter was directed by Sean Tretta and written by Mike Marsh.
