Death Sentence is a James Wan film that proves that everyone has their breaking point. Nick Hume (Kevin Bacon) is an easy going executive who has an optimistic look on every aspect of life. He has a family first attitude, and works hard to provide for his wife, Helen Hume (Kelly Preston), and kids, Brendan Hume (Stuart Lafferty) and Lucas Hume (Jordan Garrett). Everything is going great for Nick until he witnesses a horrific act and experiences the biggest life change he could ever imagine. Consumed with grief, Nick turns to the justice system and comes up short. With the haunting notion that life will never be the same, Nick eventually realizing that being mild-mannered is no longer an option if he wants to keep his family safe. It is now up to Nick to seek the justice that he and his family deserve and protect them at all costs.
