Death Valley Outlaws is a western movie starring Don 'Red' Barry as wandering cowboy Johnny Edwards. Johnny goes into a deep depression when he finds out that his best friend and beloved confidant is murdered. Immediately, he swears revenge on the murderers. By pretending to be a well-known fugitive, Johnny becomes a part of a gang and worms his way to the top so that he can identify the gang's leaders. As Johnny gets more and more involved with the gang he finds friendship with a certain member named Jeff (Milburn Stone). Johnny feels a strong connection to Jeff and tries to get him to reform and leave the gang. Before Jeff agrees, tragedy strikes. Later, Johnny finds out that Jeff was his brother and feels guilty for not getting him to reform before his accident. Johnny must learn to deal with the guilt of losing his brother and his grief over losing his best friend.
