Death Valley Rangers is a fun and exciting western from 1943. In light of a rash of train robberies, in which a large supply of gold has been stolen, a frustrated businessman calls upon the Trailblazers to hunt down the perpetrators and recover the supply. This group of rough-neck law men are played by veteran Western actors Ken Maynard and Hoot Gibson along with newcomer Bob Steele, all playing characters of the same name. The trio are determined to find and stop those guilty of terrorizing the Death Valley stagecoach run. A mystery arises when authorities become frustrated to find that not even a scrap of gold has been either recovered or seen. In order to figure out what has been happening to the gold, Steele poses as an outlaw and infiltrates the gang. Undercover, Steele is asked by the leader of the gang to kill Maynard and Gibson. Not wanting to give himself away but also needing to protect his partners, Steele must outsmart and outgun the robbers.moreless
