Deception is a 2008 crime mystery film directed by Marcel Langenegger. The film follows Jonathan McQuarry (played by Ewan McGregor). McQuarry is an auditor living in Manhattan who moves from office to office checking their books. One day while he's working late a smooth and nicely dress man named Wyatt Bose (played by Hugh Jackman) starts talking to McQuarry and offers him a joint. Soon enough the two become friends. These calls lead Jonathan to a sex club where busy and powerful people meet each other to then go anonymously together to hotels. Jonathan falls for one of the members of the club whom he knows only as 'S.' When 'S' suddenly goes missing some ominous patterns emerge and Jonathan faces dangerous violence and heavy demands for money...
