Delta Force One: The Lost Patrol was directed by Joseph Zito and released in 2000. It is the story of an elite military unit that must save two Middle Eastern countries from going to war. Tensions are rising and peace-keeping forces are sent to help reduce the hostilities. Things go awry when one of the teams is lost in the desert. A group of elite soldiers from various nations are compiled and sent on the recovery mission. Led by Captain James Wellford (Gary Daniels) and Sergeant Mike Morton (Mike Norris), the Delta Force uncovers an even greater threat: one of the countries has smuggled in a nuclear weapon and plans to end the tensions in a big way. With the peace-keeping team missing and the threat of a nuclear strike imminent, the Delta Force team must fight the desert elements and their own personal conflicts to save the lives of an untold number of people.
