Dennis the Menace Strikes Again is a 1998 comedy directed by Charles T. Kanganis. The film is the straight-to-video sequel of the 1993 release Dennis the Menace. Both movies are based on the comic strip and TV show Dennis the Menace. In the sequel, Dennis (Justin Cooper) has the best intentions when he decides to surprise Mr. Wilson (Don Rickles), his elderly next door neighbor, for his birthday. As fans of the story have come to expect, the situation quickly escalates out of control and ends with Mr. Wilson wearing his birthday cake. As usual, Mr. Wilson is extremely angry with Dennis' mischievous behavior. This particular incident pushes Mr. Wilson over the edge and the grumpy neighbor contemplates moving to get away from Dennis and his behavior. In the meantime, Dennis' grandfather (George Kennedy) is moving into Dennis' family home. An instant competition, to see who is better at, anything and everything, begins between the two elderly men. In an attempt to guarantee victory and possibly become younger Mr. Wilson is conned by two conmen (Doyle Murray and Carrot Top). Who will be the better elderly man in the neighborhood? Watch Dennis the Menace Strikes Again to find out.
