Derailed is a wild 2002 action film starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Jacques Kristoff (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is a NATO officer celebrating his birthday when he is requested to come in to work. He is commissioned to track down a thief named Galina Konstantin (Laura Harring from Mulholland Drive) who is responsible for stealing 3 test tubes containing a lethal strain of smallpox. It is not long before Kristoff tracks down Galina and rides the train with her back to his base. Kristoff is joined on the train by his son Ethan (Kristopher Van Varenberg) and daughter Bailey (Jessica Bowman). Things go awry when a group of terrorists hijack the train in an attempt to steal the vials of virus. In a bad turn of events, the virus is released inside the train, and now Jacques must do everything he can to save his family, keep his hold on Galina, and fight off a menacing group of terrorists.moreless
