Devil Girl From Mars is a 1954 science fiction b movie classic directed by David MacDonald. The film follows an uptight, leather clad female martian named Nyah (played by Patrica Laffan) who's been tasked with the mission to bring human men back to Mars to mate with the planet's sex starved female alien she-devils who need a new stock of breeders to repopulate the red planet with. If the men don't perform properly they will be zapped by Nyah's menacing robot companion Chani or be thrown into the atomic pile that powers the ship. The film is a very good example of 1950s science fiction films and stands out for it is a British film which is a rarity for science fiction films of this era. As an English film its production values are a bit higher than one might expect. All in all this is a funny and enjoyable sci fi romp!
