Devil's Gate is a 2003 British thriller co-written by Stuart St. Paul and Trevor Todd and directed by Stuart St. Paul. Five years ago, Rachael (Laura Fraser), left her home on the Island of Devil's Gate to search for her mother. She is lured back to the island when she hears from her ex-boyfriend, Rafe (Callum Blue) that her father, Jake (Tom Bell), is dying. Racheal soon learns that her father is not dying. However, she misses the last ferry and is stuck on the island for several days. Soon she she meets an island hoping city boy named Matt (Luke Aikman) and a romantic interests develops. To complicate things, Rafe still cares for Racheal. The love triangle is only the beginning of the complications. Being of the island rekindles Rachael's childhood memories. Racheal decides the stay and investigate her mother's disappearance. What she finds will shock her and the small community to its core.
