Diamond Dogs, directed by Shimon Dotan, is a 2007 action adventure film about an ex-soldier who is hired to protect a group of treasure hunters in the Mongolian mountains. Xander Ronson (Dolph Lundgren) is a retired American Special Forces soldier living in Mongolia. He has become entangled with the Mongolian mob and owes them a great deal of money, so he is busy working in illegal street fights to pay them back. One night while working the fights, Xander meets the beautiful Anika (Nan Yu) who offers him a job working for her father, Chambers (William Shriver), a wealthy New York businessman. With no other money-making opportunities, Xander agrees to protect Chambers, Anika, archaeologist Ang Shaw (Xue Zuren), and two other people while they search for a legendary Buddhist artifact, Tangka Tapestry, in the dangerous Mongolian mountains. What the group does not know is they are not the only group searching for the treasure. Who will find it first?
