Diary of a Hitman is a crime thriller adapted from Kenneth Pressman's play, "Insider's Price." This fast-moving thriller centers around Dekker (Forest Whitaker), a hitman who is beginning to have second thoughts about his career choices. Dekker plans to take one last job before calling it quits, but the it turns out to be the toughest job Dekker has ever undertaken. Ex-gangster Zidzyck (Lewis Smith) wants to focus on his budding pornography business, but his wife Jain (Sherilyn Fenn) and infant child are in the way. He hires Dekker to kill them and bring back a body part from each as proof of the deed. Dekker agrees to the contract but before he can carry out the killing, he is captivated by a monologue from Jain. Dekker falls for the lovely Jain and decides to leave his killing career behind. This proves easier said than done when Zidzyck hires another killer, turning the tables on Dekker who must now protect the lives of those he was once trying to kill.moreless
