Dirty Laundry is a comedy feature film written and directed by Maurice Jamal. It is about a man named Patrick Sheldon (Rockmond Dunbar) who has become a very successful magazine writer in New York City. He has not seen his opinionated and argumentative southern family in ten years. Out of nowhere, a child claiming to be his son arrives at his house. Sheldon finds out that his mother, Evelyn (Loretta Devine), is behind this and he promptly sets out to confront her at her home in Paris, Georgia. Conflict between Patrick and his mother and the rest of the family naturally and disastrously ensues. The family cannot even keep their issues in the house; instead, the word spreads through the entire community. Things only get worse when a man suddenly shows up at Evelyn's house, saying that he his Patrick's partner. Can Patrick resolve the situation and not freak out?
