Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry is a cult film, released on May 17, 1974. The film is based on a novel and was directed by John Hough. Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry begins with Larry (Peter Fonda) and his partner Deke (Andy Rourke) successfully robbing a supermarket by holding the manager's daughter and wife hostage. They make out with $150,000. As Larry and Deke are trying to make their escape in their Chevrolet Impala, they run into Larry's one time lover Mary (Susan George). She threatens to tell the police about them and their heist if they do not let Mary join them. Larry and Deke reluctantly allow Mary to join them. The trio switches their car to a Dodge Charger, and attempts to escape the police. The movie revolves around their close encounters of getting caught and the adventures they discover along the way.
