Disappearing in America is a 2009 dark thriller directed by Erik Rodgers. Sean Mulligan (David Polcyn) is a fugitive wanted for helping the Irish Republican Army in a bombing gone horribly wrong. He is soon brought into the United States by way of the San Francisco harbor. Sean's first goal is to hide in the USA and to lose all traces of his Irish past. He soon tries to disappear into his new American identity and to start life over again. Sean soon finds himself at the mercy of three criminal men and one of his captors is intent on using him in a series of trite drug deals to make money. Sean searches desperately for a way out, but everyone seems to have their own motives with him. As Sean's past and future seem to disappear into a nightmare, he is left with little hope of a way out. Disappearing in America shows the dark side of the underworld drug-running operation.moreless
