Movie Summary

Mark Wilkinson
Dischord is a serial killer story with a musical twist. Gypsy (Annunziata Gianzero) is a rock violinist and her husband, Lucien (Andrew Borba) is an acclaimed New Age composer. Gypsy decides to abandon her world tour to spend more time with her husband at their Cape Cod retreat. There is friction between the couple as Lucien tries to write a follow-up to his recent successful album and battle guilt that he has derailed his wife's career. Meanwhile, Lucien's brother Jimmy (Thomas Jay Ryan) calls, who Lucien hasn't spoken to in more than 10 years. Lucien invites him to their house but as Jimmy and his girlfriend (Robin Jones) are leaving, they get into an argument and he beats her to death in his car. On the way to the Cape, Jimmy dumps the body in the ocean along with her suitcase. After some awkward introductions, Lucien gets back to work on his album essentially leaving Gypsy alone with a killer. When a police inspector finds a body washed up on shore, will he be able to piece the clues together and save Gypsy?moreless
