Dixie - Changing Habits is a crime comedy about a woman named Dixie Cabot (Suzanne Pleshette), a successful Madam of the New Orleans bordello "Dixies." She is arrested during a police raid on her house of prostitution. Instead of going directly to jail, Dixie is given a ultimatium by the judge. She will serve 90 days of community service at a local Catholic convent. There she will follow the rules of the nuns, or she will see jail time after all. Dixie hates everything about her sentence in the beginning, but as she begins to mend her ways, through the helpful guidance of Mother Superior Eugenio (Cloris Leachman) and the worldly wisdom of Sister Agnes (Geraldine Fitzgerald), she also teaches the nuns a few valuable lessons of her own. This made-for-TV movie was directed by George Englund and written by John Considine. It also features: Kenneth McMillan, Judith Ivey, and Maureen Silliman.
