D.L. Hughley: Unapologetic puts the California comedian on-stage and live in front of a Washington D.C. audience, giving them an hour of his newest stand-up routines. In his second HBO special, Hughley starts the show by contrasting famous figures Michael Jackson and Don Imus. He then explains why African-Americans don't risk their lives for a job. Relationships are next on Hughley's agenda when he tells men how they must give up things, like hope, after finding their soul mate. He also warns men not to mess with the towels that women put in the bathroom for show. The comedian then explains why he doesn't like cats and dogs just before he starts picking on members in the audience. The comedian finds an interracial couple sitting in the audience, and he asks one of them if they've been to the other's family reunion. He asks another how long they've been out of prison and harasses a young man for wearing tight clothes. Hughley also does a variety of impressions and lampoons throughout his show.moreless
