Do Not Disturb, directed by Ralph Levy and written by Richard L. Breen, is a romantic comedy based on a play by William Fairchild. An American businessman, Mike Harper (Rod Taylor), moves his wife Janet (Doris Day) to England when he is transferred by his company. Janet feels neglected when her husband spends more time at work with his beautiful secretary Claire (Maura McGiveney) than with her, and her suspicions are fueled by her gossipy landlady, Vanessa (Hermione Baddeley). In retaliation, she begins an innocent flirtation with a handsome tourist named Paul (Sergio Fantoni) and soon finds herself on an adventurous tour of Paris, where she hobnobs with high society at parties and fashion shows. She realizes she truly loves her husband, but is it too late to reconcile? Produced by Twentieth Century Fox, this charming classic film features two songs sung by the leading lady, and is a must see for any Doris Day fan.
