Author Steven Merritt (Alexander Chaplin) goes undercover at a veterinary clinic to research his novel and finds love in this romantic comedy. Vet assistant Rebecca (Lindsay Sloane) assumes he's gay, but finds him attractive. Realizing a gay character would be a great addition to his novel, Stephen plays the part with exuberance, but begins to fall for Rebecca. The frustration builds as the duo struggle with their true feelings.
