Don't Forget You're Going to Die is a French film about the journey and life of a military man who is drowning in a pool of sex and drugs in a desperate struggle to overcome the obstacles in his life. Benoit (Xavier Beauvois) is a failed art student and hopeless army volunteer who becomes very depressed and develops many habits. He tries to overcome this problem alone but fails to do so. After being referred to a a psychiatrist to help treat his depression, this only influences Benoit to attempt suicide. When he tests positive for HIV, he loses all hope and finds himself in an unpredictable and out of control lifestyle filled with drugs, alcohol and nightclubs. However in one of the drug infested clubs, he meets Claudia (Chiara Mastroianni), who just might be the only person who can help him better himself and understand his purpose in life.
