Doom is a science fiction horror movie based on a series of video games released in 2004. The setting of the movie takes place on Mars where a team of research scientists are brutally attacked and taken to an unknown place by a monster that no one has seen. Doctor Carmack (Robert Russell) managed to send the warning that there has been a level 5 security breach only moments before a door behind him opens and he sees a faint figure. Meanwhile, back on planet Earth a team of eight Marines are re-assigned to go and aid the scientists who have now been quarantined on Mars. The team of eight Marines is teleported to Mars to execute their mission: Kill the threat, secure the facility, and to retrieve all information collected from the scientist's research labs. But once the team finds out that they are dealing with a super human sub species invulnerable to disease, and that have super healing abilities, their main mission becomes to stay alive.moreless
