2003
Rating:

Dot the I is a psychological thriller film directed by Matthew Parkhill that focuses on Carmen (Natalia Verbeke), a young Spaniard living in England, when her last kiss of her single life during her Hen’s Night leads to a triangle between herself, her fiancé Barnaby (James D’Arcy), and the stranger, a Brazilian actor named Kit (Gael Garcia Bernal). The passionate and exotic Kit offers Carmen an excitement her caring but slightly boring Englishman of a fiancé had yet to give. With the wedding date approaching, Carmen finds herself pulled between these two vastly different men as her emotions and personal loyalties make it difficult to stay away from Kit and to say no to Barnaby. Carmen discovers however that some things and people are never what they seem to be on the surface.
