Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs is a 1966 sequel to 1964's Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine. In this outing, the evil Dr. Goldfoot (Vincent Price) plans to take over the world by working with the Chinese to create lifelike female robots who explode when they are embraced. Goldfoot plan is to deploy these beautiful robots to distract the top generals of NATO during a war game exercise. Attempting to stop him is Bill Dexter (Fabian), a former agent of the Security Intelligence Command (SIC), who was fired because his good looks were too distracting for the women who worked there. Adding further mayhem to the proceedings are two dimwitted hotel doormen (Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia) who get in Dexter's way when they mistakenly think he is a foreign spy. When Goldfoot kidnaps his exact double, American General Willis (Vincent Price), he plans to take his place at a world conference meeting and eventually take over the world. Will Dexter to be able to stop this madness? Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs was a rare non-horror film directed by the noted Italian director Mario Bava.moreless
