Doctor Hackenstein is a 1988 horror comedy film directed by Richard Clark that attempts to mix gore together with slapstick comedy. David Muir plays doctor Hackenstein, a misguided but rather genial mad scientist. He has been going around killing people to use their body parts. He's not using the body parts for scientific research of any kind though. Rather he is using them to try to put the body of his dead wife back together and bring her back to life. Meanwhile two young sisters, along with their perverted brother and cousin run into some car trouble and get stuck. They end up going to Dr. Hackenstein's house for help, completely unaware of his creepy ways. Dr. Hackenstein tells the new house guests that he can help them get home in the morning, so they must stay the night. The guests do this and the doctor starts going to work for he needs those young girl's body parts!
