Dr. Phibes Rises Again! is a 1972 comedy/horror film directed by Robert Fuest. It is a sequel to 1971's The Abominable Dr. Phibes. When the moon comes into a magical alignment with the planets, it causes Dr. Anton Phibes (Vincent Price) to awaken after he has spent three years in suspended animation. He plans to bring his deceased wife Victoria (Caroline Munro) back to life by giving her water from the river of life in Egypt. However, he discovers that Darius Biederbeck (Robert Quarry) has taken the map that leads to the river. With the help of his loyal servant, Vulnavia (Valli Kemp), Dr. Phibes steals the map back from Biederbeck and sets out on a journey to the river. Along the way, he is closely pursued by Biederbeck and his mistress Diana (Fiona Lewis), as well as police officers who want to take him to jail on charges of murder.
