Drag Me to Hell is a 2009 horror film starring Alison Lohman and Justin Long in a story about a young woman who becomes cursed and must quickly free herself from the evil blight or spend eternity burning in hell. Lohman plays Christine Brown, a young woman with a bright future. She's a bank loan officer in line for a big promotion, and she's in a loving relationship with Clay Dalton (Long), a handsome and wealthy college professor. One day, a mysterious old woman comes to the bank begging for an extension on her mortgage payment, and Christine is forced to deny her in order to stay in the running for the promotion. Enraged, the old woman places a curse on Christine-a powerful demon called Lamia will torment her for three days before finally coming to Earth and dragging her to hell. Together, Clay and Christine scramble to escape the wrath of Lamia. Drag Me To Hell is directed by Sam Raimi, the acclaimed director of Spider-Man and The Evil Dead.moreless
