Drifter: Henry Lee Lucas is a 2009 American horror film writer and directed by Michael Feifer and starring Antonio Sabato Jr., John Diehl, and Kostas Sommer. The film tells the story of famed serial killer Henry Lee Lucas, who is supposedly responsible for over 300 murders. Lucas (Sabato Jr.) suffers a lifetime of abuse at the hands a viciously cruel mother, who is said to be his first murder. Her life as an alcoholic prostitute deeply affected Lucas, causing him to drop out of school after the 6th grade and roam the country. When women refused to have sex with him, he would kill them, often times with of Otis Toole (Sommer), whom he would later be convicted of murdering. Director Feifer takes a factual approach to Lucas's story, though little of the story seems conventionally believable.
