Drop Zone is a 1994 action adventure film directed by John Badham. As the film begins, U.S. Marshal Pete Nessip (Wesley Snipes) is transporting a prisoner to trial on a Boeing 747. When the prisoner breaks free of his handcuffs, Nessip does his best to stop him from escaping. He doesn't succeed. The prisoner manages to parachute into the night with the help of evil cohorts. Unfortunately for Nessip, the prisoner was part of a gang of sky-diving criminals, led by ex-DEA agent Ty Moncrief (Gary Busey), that steal undercover agent files and sells them to drug lords. With his career in jeopardy, Nessip must track down the gang and avenge his brother's death before the gang strikes again. In order to catch them, Nessip must enter the dangerous world of the daredevil, learn to sky-dive, and beat the gang at their own game. In the end, Nessip must face off against Ty Moncrief in a winner take all fight to the finish.moreless
