Dumb and Dumber: Unrated

Movie Summary

Director:
Peter Farrelly
Released:
1994
Rating:
R
Dumb and Dumber: Unrated takes the 1994 comedy of two brainless losers to sillier, cruder and more shocking heights of comedy. Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey), a limo driver, thinks he'll be a hero to lovely passenger, Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly), when he discovers her suitcase deserted at the airport. Little does he know she purposely left the baggage, stuffed full of cash, as ransom for her abducted husband. Clueless Lloyd and his equally dim pal Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) decide to travel to Aspen, Colorado to return the suitcase and win her heart. With the kidnappers on their trail, this Dumb and Dumber duo manages to make trouble with everything they encounter, from parakeets to toilet bowls. Directed by the Farrelly brothers of "There's Something About Mary," this comic gem brings together gross-out humor, Carrey's incomparable physical humor and a delightful series of comic situations that will make you wince and laugh in equal measure.
