Duplicity is a romantic thriller starring Oscar winner Julia Roberts and Clive Owen. The movie was written and directed by Tony Gilroy, who is famous for writing and directing the blockbuster "Michael Clayton." The movie surrounds two former lovers Claire Stenwick (Roberts) and Ray Koval (Owen), who left the CIA and MI6 for the more lucrative corporate espionage jobs. Both are on a mission to secure a valuable formula that will bring fortune to the company that patents it first. Their respective employers Howard Tully (Tom Wilkinson) CEO of Burkitt and Randall, and Dick Garsik (Paul Giamatti) CEO of Equikrom are rivals that will stop at nothing to get what they want. While scheming and attempting to outwit each other, Claire and Ray realize that their attraction is growing stronger and stronger. The key to success or failure hinges on whether or not they allow their heart to jeopardize their mission.
