E-A-G-L-E-S! The Movie starts with the battle cry of the Philadelphia Eagles. Since its start in 1933, the Eagles fan base has been consistently ranked as among the best in the league for their "unmatched fervor" and team devotion. That devotion hasn't waned through difficult years in the franchise and a 26-year drought in the chase for a National Football Conference Eastern Division championship. The film follows the National Football League team on the season that rewarded those fans for their years of loyalty with a chance to play in Super Bowl XXXIX at the end of the 2004 season, taking on the New England Patriots in Jacksonville, Florida. The team went 13-3 that season, including a win over the Dallas Cowboys, the team's rival. Included in the documentary is footage of Head Coach Andy Reid talking with players in the locker room and footage of the devoted fans who have remained faithful attendees throughout the franchise.
