Eating Out is a 2004 comedy written and directed by Q. Allan Brocka that explores, in a hilarious way, the sensitive subject of relationships and sexual minorities. Caleb Peterson (Scott Lunsford) is still struggling to get over his failed relationship with energetic and arrogant Tiffany (Rebekah Kochan), when his gay room colleague Kyle (Jim Verraros) tells him about a secret to get the woman of his dreams. Caleb is surprised to find out that many girls like gay men because of the challenge to convert them to heterosexuality. When during a party Caleb meets charming Gwen (Emily Brooke Hands), who finds straight men unattractive and instead prefers gays, he decides to put into application Kyle's advice of pretending to be homosexual. The plan is complicated by the fact that Gwen's gay roommate, Marc (Ryan Carnes), finds Caleb attractive and shows him signs of affection. The situation is complicated even more by Kyle's sympathy towards Marc, which creates confusion and amusement in this strange love game.moreless
