Eavesdrop is a 2008 film directed by Matthew Miele. In a posh New York bistro, many different people gather, each one hiding his or her own secrets or sharing his or her own story. During the crowded brunch shift, the diners begin to listen in on each other, discovering that there is romance, drama, intrigue and comedy all blending together in the smoky bistro air. Capser (Allan Ruck) plays a tense and unusual game of chess. Grant (Ted McGinley) discovers that his date is not going to go quite as casually as he hoped. Tallulah (Lynn Collins) and Terrence (Chris Parnell) do not even bother to keep their voices down as they discuss Tallulah's murderous past. Meanwhile, the bistro is also filled with awkward blind dates. As the secrets slowly come out into the open, each diner will leave the bistro with a new outlook on life, love and everything else.
