Echoes of Innocence is a Christian romantic thriller directed and written by Nathan Todd Sims. Beautiful high school student Sarah (Sara Simmonds) has made a pact with her boyfriend, Chris (Cody Linley): when they turn eighteen, the two virgins will get married and enjoy a sexual relationship sanctioned by God. When Chris leaves town, however, Sarah's faith and willpower are soon put to the test by two attractive young men. Handsome Dave (Jake McDorman) is the charming new kid on the block whose tousled hair and blue eyes are difficult for Sarah to resist. Brooding Alec (Matt Vodvarka) presents another, darker temptation. Alec is handsome and promiscuous. He sets his sights on Sarah specifically for the thrill of corrupting her. Now, she must reconsider her commitment to sexual purity and learn the true meaning of self denial. Echoes of Innocence is a beautiful and engaging film with a timely message for teens and young adults everywhere.
