Edmond is a dramatic thriller film directed by Stuart Gordon based on the David Mamet play of the same name that centers on Edmond Burke (William H. Macy), a businessman who decides to change his life due to a fortuneteller's (Frances Bay) advice and leaves his wife (Rebecca Pidgeon). Feeling that his marriage has destroyed his masculinity, Edmond sets out to prove himself by visiting a strip club. As his frustration grows with each attempt, he makes to gain control over his life as he is thrown out of the strip club, a peep show, and a bordello.
