Movie Summary

Greg Coolidge
Employee of the Month is the 2006 film about Zack Bradley (Dane Cook) in his life as a long-time employee of the local "Super Club," a big-box retailer resembling a Costco. Zack lives with his grandmother and spends most of his free time with fellow employees Lon Neilson (Andy Dick), Iqbal Raji (Brian George), Russell Porpis-Gunders (Harland Williams). Zack's rival Vince Downey (Dax Shepard) has been named Employee of the Month seventeen times in a row, despite the fact that he is rude to co-workers and rarely gets along with new employees. When Amy Renfro (Jessica Simpson) starts a job at the Super Club as a cashier, Zack and Vince both compete for her affection. Vince and Amy go on a date and walk away with opposite impressions of the success of the evening. Zack decides that if he wins Employee of the Month that Amy will fall in love with him and so he begins to work harder than ever. When Zack loses his way, his friends remind him of what really matters about his job. Directed by Greg Coolidge, Employee of the Month received predominantly negative reviews upon its release.moreless
