Apart for several months, Joe (Daniel Craig) and Claire (Samantha Morton) have decided to celebrate their reunion with a picnic in the park. While they are there, they see a hot air balloon flying dangerously close to the ground. Eventually, they realize that it is going to crash and they rush ahead to try and help the young boy flying in the balloon. While trying to help the balloon come down safely, an innocent man is caught up in the ropes and lifted into the sky. He ultimately falls to his death, to the horror of both Joe and Claire. Ultimately, the balloon settles to the ground and the young boy is rescued. Joe and Jed (Rhys Ifans) are the two men who rescue him.
