Entr'Acte, a 2009 comedy, was directed by Scott Thompson and is based in the same small Midwest town in which it was filmed: Red Wing, Minnesota. The extensive and very talented cast is largely made up of local and regional actors from the area which adds to its small town quality. In the film, an old man, Bogart (Tim Bowes) is en route to his hometown. The purpose of his journey is to fulfill an old promise he made to his old sweetheart, the beautiful Elsie (Michelle Myer). Back in high school, the two had made a pact to marry if they were both single at 40, before parting ways. But, Bogart is thrown off by Elsie's adamant rejection of his proposal. To win her back, Bogart must come up with a quick scheme that soon turns out to be more than he can handle. This quirky comedy is sure to capture hearts.
