Eolomea is a 1972 science-fiction and adventure film. The film couples the genres of science-fiction and mystery when Professor Maria Scholl (Cox Habberna) attempts to discover the origins behind a series of suspicious activities in space. These suspicions arise when 8 state-of-the-art and trusted space freighters containing valuable cargo mysteriously vanish and the space station "Margot" ceases all communications with the space council. Suspicion is cast onto the Professor Oli Tal (Rolf Hoppe), who was once part of a mysterious and controversial program that seems to be written all over this mystery, the Eolomea Project. The clues that are gradually uncovered reveal the perfect intertwining of the past and present as the air is cleared and the truth is stranger than anyone could have guessed. The film is extremely significant to modern technology in its early guesses about what the future of space-commerce might be like and what effect this might have on the way affairs are run on Earth.
