Rating:

Epic Movie is a 2007 feature film directed and written by Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg. It is a continuation of the parody concept of movies, including Date Movie and the Scary Movie series. Epic Movie focuses on making fun of the Chronicles of Narnia and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, although there are also references to other films like the Da Vinci Code and Harry Potter as well. The movie features the four Pevensie children of the Narnia books as protagonists. Lucy (Jayma Mays) receives a golden ticket from the museum curator who has been assassinated by an albino monk. Edward (Kal Penn) lives in a Mexican monastery and gets expelled, taking a golden ticket from another monk in the process. Susan (Faune Chambers) gets thrown out of a plane full of snakes and finds a ticket in a celebrity's purse. Lastly, Peter (Adam Campbell) goes to an academy for mutants with supernatural powers, where he also finds a ticket. The four meet up at the deranged Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and the adventure continues from there.moreless
