Escape to Witch Mountain is a 1975 science fiction film about two alien children trying to return to their home planet. Tony (Ike Eisenmann) and Tia (Kim Richards) are very different from other children because they possess telekinetic and telepathic powers. They live in an orphanage until a mysterious millionaire named Aristotle Bolt (Ray Milland) discovers their powers and invites them to live with him. Although they initially enjoy living in such a beautiful home, the children eventually become suspicious of Bolt's motives and decide to leave. During their escape, Tia has a dramatic recollection from her childhood that prompts her and Tony to go to Witch Mountain. She remembers that the crash she remembered from her early childhood was not a ship, but a spacecraft. It is only then that the children realize they are actually aliens. They enlist the aid of the kindly Jason O'Day (Eddie Albert) to get them to Witch Mountain, desperate to stay ahead of Bolt and his cronies.moreless
